Fireforce is a simple, useful and effective Firefox extension worth having when you need to perform various brute-force attacks on GET and POST forms and view all the passwords that it can generate.
Before using Fireforce you need to be aware that the extension blocks your Firefox profile and it is advisable to run it from a different profile so it will not affect your settings and bookmarks.
Sometimes, for security reasons, when creating accounts on various websites or public networks, you need to create a strong encrypted password that no one can break in order to access personal information without your consent.
The usage of Fireforce is quite simple. All you have to do is to navigate to the form where you need to enter your username and password, write the name and load the dictionary stored onto your system. Then, you have the possibility to enter the text that identifies the failed authentication and the number of requests sent to the server.
After specifying the values you are interested in, you can let Fireforce to work in background. It scans all the passwords available in the current dictionary and displays the password that corresponds with the mentioned username.
What’s more, Fireforce can be easily used when you want to generate passwords. Simply point your mouse into the ‘Password’ field and choose the option you want from the displayed list. You can generate passwords from a to z or from 0 to 9. Then, you are required to enter the maximum and the minimum length, the text that identifies the failed authentication and the number of requests sent to the server.
