FLAC Player

FLAC Player is a lightweight program which has a name that pretty much explains its purpose - it allows you to play audio tracks with the FLAC format.
The interface of the program consists of minimalistic elements. It is easy to navigate through, since you don't have too many options at your disposal. Audio tracks can be imported via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
So, you can use basic audio player functions, such as pause and stop, navigate back and forth within the track, as well as adjust the volume.
But you can also create and save a playlist, use a search function, remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue, as well as enable FLAC Player to remember the current playlist.
The simple-to-use software runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, allows multiple instances and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. However, there is no help file available.
All in all, FLAC Player doesn't offer any extraordinary features but it comes equipped with necessary and suffice tools for playing FLAC files. We recommend it to all users who prefer a straightforward application.
