Font Viewer Description
Font Viewer is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you check out a list with all fonts that are installed on your computer. It can be deployed on all Windows versions out there.
Clean feature lineup
After a fast and simple installation process, you are welcomed by an intuitive interface that comprises only a few options. A help manual is not included in the package. However, you do not need one in order to decode the program’s functions because they look easy to work with.
How it works
Font Viewer automatically reveals all available fonts in a minimalist and simplistic panel. You cannot resize the primary window but you are allowed to drag and drop it to the desired desktop position.
What’s more, you can browse throughout the list with fonts. The application only offers support for some basic features. Advanced users may be disappointed by the program’s lack of advanced parameters.
You are not allowed to check out the total numbers of fonts installed on your computer, preview with each font present on your PC using sample text, alter the text that is revealed in the main window for each font in terms of size and color, and create a list with favorite fonts.
Plus, you cannot make a comparison between two user-defined fonts to view how they look like placed side-by-side, perform searches, organize fonts into user-defined groups, generate PDF files with all your fonts, and indicate conflicting and duplicate fonts.
Tests have shown that Font Viewer carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so it does not affect the overall performance of your computer.
Bottom line
To sum things up, Font Viewer has to offer nothing more than basic features for helping you view all fonts installed on your system, and is suitable especially for less experienced users. If you are looking for nothing more than font viewing capabilities, you can give Font Viewer a try and see what it can do for you.
