Free Batch Photo Resizer Description
Manually modifying the size of several pictures can be a time-consuming and tiresome activity. There is another way to achieve the same result faster and easier: using specialized batch photo resizing software, such as Free Batch Photo Resizer.
Plain user interface
You can access this useful program's functions without effort directly from the main window, as it comes with a simple, straightforward interface, with no hidden menus or options.
After you add your images to the application, you can view details related to file names and locations. On the downside, Free Batch Photo Resizer integrates no support for dragging and dropping files, therefore the only way to access your content is through the interface functions.
Few supported file types
Although this utility can handle multiple photos at once, there is a lack of compatible formats, as Free Batch Photo Resizer only provides resizing support for BMP, PNG and JPG file types.
You can enter the new desired size parameters in the designated box and choose if the values are expressed in pixels or percent. It is possible to keep the original aspect ratio by toggling the corresponding option.
After configuring the desired values, you can select an output destination folder and the application can begin modifying your picture size accordingly. This last process opens a new window where you can view a progress bar of the operation.
Basic batch resizer
Aside from providing batch file resizing support, in terms of innovation, Free Batch Photo Resizer features no extra features, compared to other basic image editing tools, for example Windows' native Paint. Furthermore, Paint even supports a wider variety of file types, too.
To sum it up, Free Batch Photo Resizer can provide you with basic resize functions, while allowing you to handle several files at once. However, format compatibility is limited to only BMP, PNG and JPG, while drag and drop actions are not supported.
