Free Flash Card Maker Description
Using a computer for learning has its advantages, especially because of all the applications you can use, as well as easy access to the information superhighway. However, a computer also helps you build learning methods, such as flash cards. This is exactly the purpose of Free Flash Card Maker.
Quick and easy creation process
You quickly go through the setup process, with the possibility to have the app launched as soon as the installer closes. The main window poses no accommodation problems, letting you create new items for flash cards with incredibly little effort. There’s also the possibility to import existing items if they’re saved as CSV files.
Choosing to create a new flash card adds a new row on the center table, showing what’s on the front and back of the flash card. Editing is done on the spot, and you’re free to add as many rows as you see fit. It is recommended to pay a visit to the settings panel first, so you choose how many flash cards per page you want to create.
Add cut guidelines and save as PDF
Unfortunately, there aren’t any customization options, not even the possibility to adjust font size or style. There is, however, the option to add simple or double border on either side of the flash card, display fold guides, as well as a dotted line which helps you cut the actual paper after a print operation.
There isn’t a built-in preview mode, but it’s not really difficult to tell how flash cards end up based on the number of items per page you specify. Saving allows you to generate either a CSV or PDF file with flash cards. Sadly, the application doesn’t let you print directly, so you need to use a different app in this regard.
A few last words
All things considered, we come to the conclusion that Free Flash Card Maker is a fast way of creating flash cards which contain literally anything you want. Adding new items is done on the spot, while guidelines help you fold and cut the printed paper accordingly.
