As the name of this software application implies, Free Mailing List Merger allows you to join multiple lists with email addresses, in order to create a larger one.
The interface of the program is based on a standard window with an intuitive layout. Importing items into the file list can be done by using only the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' functionality is not included. Handling more than two files at the same time is possible.
The file queue shows the location and number of email addresses for each item. So, all you have to do is specify the output directory and filename, in order to proceed with the merging procedure.
Free Mailing List Merger supports only the TXT format for the input and output. In addition, you can remove an item from the list or clear the entire file queue.
During the procedure, you can check out two progress bars on the current and all files, along with the current file path and processed email address. Free Mailing List Merger runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, and quickly finishes a task. The program did not freeze or crash during our tests.
However, Free Mailing List Merger was unsuccessful in its attempt to create several documents during our testing. Moreover, it does not come with any kind of settings to configure, such as previewing the files or making the app minimize to the system tray area. All in all, Free Mailing List Merger does not provide an essential feature for managing mail lists. This simpler merger can be easily done through traditional methods, by using the copy and paste functions.
