Import your source video and customize the output preferences

Free Video Compressor allows you to add the file you wish to process by clicking on the 'Open' button and browsing through your computer to locate the item, then loading it into the application. You can work with formats such as AVI, FLV, WMV, MPG, MOV, 3GP, ASF and others; bear in mind that it does not support drag and drop, nor batch operations.
Subsequent to adding the video, the utility will read its properties, then enable you to select the approximate 'Desired Video Size' and 'Audio Quality'. At the same time, you can resort to 'Cutting' a user-defined number of seconds from the start and end of the file. Similarly, you can 'Scale' your movie to a preferred 'Width' and 'Height' or for a certain 'Aspect Ratio'.
Finally, you can press the 'Compress' button, and the tool will prompt you to select the destination folder and file name, otherwise exporting it to the source directory. The file is saved to MP4 format, showing a progress bar to let you know how long before the process completes and you can retrieve our file.
