FreeFotoWorks is a simple-to-use software which provides you with some essential tools for editing image files.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. You can import photographs by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed in case of several operations (e.g. resize, add shade, auto correct).
So, you can rotate, flip, crop and resize pictures, make some adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast, saturation), apply effects (e.g. sharpen, blur, morph), add text and borders, remove the red eye effect, as well as insert symbols and lines.
Furthermore, you can create a collage, add masks, insert clipart, convert images, zoom in and out, check out EXIF information, manage file links, change the interface skin and language, use the undo function, and more.
The image processing application runs on a moderate amount of system resources, contains a comprehensive help file for all users levels (too bad it doesn't have snapshots), manages to preserve the image quality after conversion and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests.
The fact of the matter is that FreeFotoWorks is a great application for editing images and we strongly recommend it to all users, regardless of their experience level.
