FVD Player

FVD Player is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you play your favorite video and audio files in a clean and intuitive environment.
It works with the following file formats: MP3, MPA, WAV, WMA, ASF, AVI, DAT, MKV, MPEG, VOB, WMV, XVID, MP4, and others.
The program gives you the possibility to upload files into the workspace using the built-in browse function or “drag and drop” operations.
What’s more, you can view a list with recently opened items, zoom in or out, adjust the aspect ratio, alter the levels of brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation, as well as use the built-in equalizer.
Other important features worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to mute the sound, play, pause, or stop the current audio or video selection, alter the volume, create a playlist, and switch to a full screen mode.
Last but not least, you can open subtitles, repeat the current selection, view file properties, make file associations, run the utility at Windows startup, and make the tool stay on top of other applications.
During our testing we have noticed that the FVD Player carries out a task quickly, and provides very good video and sound quality. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
As a conclusion, FVD Player seems to be the right choice in case you are a novice who’s looking for a simple-to-use video and audio player that comes bundled with only a few configuration settings.
