GearDictate

GearDictate is great for medical, legal and other professionals who need a powerful dictation application without tying up a telephone line or carrying around a portable device. Get away from the expensive dedicated dictation stations. GearDictate lets you use existing PCs to dictate all your notes. GearDictate was designed and developed by dictation experts with decades of experience in the industry. Its simple to use interface, integration with professional grade microphones and advanced features makes working more efficiently easier than ever. Recording your notes with GearDictate is simple. Open up the application, login if required and hit record. GearDictate can prompt you for demographics so you can enter patience IDs, case numbers and more at the beginning of each dictation. As you record, you can easily rewind and review, as well as insert additional audio or overwrite previously recorded audio all with a very simple interface. Upon completion of the dictation, simply touch EOL (End of Letter) on the Philips SpeechMike or use your mouse to select End of Letter on the GearDictate screen. GearDictate will send the audio off to an Email address, FTP folder or across the network to transcription. Transferring files with GearDictate is as simple as touching a button. If you have more than one destination, simply touch the EOL button, then select the appropriate destination from the list. Do you need your work encrypted for security? GearDictate has a 128-bit unique key encryption. This means you specify who can open documents based on who has your key. GearPlayer or GearXport are required to decrypt documents if GearDictate is used to encrypt them.
