GeoPoint SDL

Windows application for scrubbing and geocoding mailing lists or other address lists from CSV files, Excel spreadsheets or SQL Server database tables. Addresses are geocoded using Yahoo Maps service. The output data includes properly formated mailing address, 4 digit zip code extension, address latitude and longitude coordinates, and an addres precision indicator which can be used to flag suspect address data.Geocoded results are written to a user specified CSV output file and / or stored in a SQL Server table for further processing. The output data includes the geocoded results including the reformated house number and street name, verified city name, state abbreviation, zip code with 4 digit extension, address latitude and longitude, and an address precision indicator, which gives the certainty with which the address was able to be verified. Addresses where the results can only be verified to the STREET, ZIP, CITY, or STATE level are suspect addresses requiring further research if an exact address is required, for a mailing or shipment for example.
