GG Lite

The Internet is filled with all sort of messaging applications that help users connect to other people and chat with them. GG Lite is a very lightweight and simple application that you could use in order to connect to Gadu-Gadu, Tlen and XMPP networks.
It's packed with many features and tools that you could check out and it comes in two languages, English and Polish.

Lightweight and intuitive interface

GG Lite sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand and some instructions that you could check out. The installation process doesn't take long, but you will need to complete a setup in order to connect to your desired network.
The first thing that you need to do is to pick the language and type in your username and password. If you don't have any, they can be created easily. As you use the application, you'll notice that half of its settings menu is in Polish which is quite inconvenient.

Connect to your desired network

You will need to provide information on network ports and other details. GG Lite automatically signs you in Gadu-Gadu, Tlen and XMPP networks. You can import or export contacts from a certain file or from the server.
There's the option to view the log activity and check the archive for messages that you might have sent. You can assign your status, either online, away, invisible or offline. Find contacts on the network or adjust all sort of options.

Manage settings and make them meet your preferences

Have GG Lite save your password and automatically login using your profile when you launch the application. There's the option to set a proxy server, provide the hostname and IP address, adjust the port and protocol for it to work.
Notifications can be adjusted together with fonts and options for each of the networks. It comes with some emojis that you could use in conversations and the option to change your profile picture. All in all, it's a nice messaging tool but there are nicer ones available out there.
