GiliSoft Full Disk Encryption

GiliSoft Full Disk Encryption is especially useful for laptops and other small computing devices that can be physically lost or stolen. It offers encryption of all disk partitions, including the system partition. Through password protecting a disk, disk partition or operating system launch, the program disables any unauthorized reading/writing activity on your disk or PC, restricts access and launch of specific disks and files. It provides automatic security for all information on endpoint hard drives, including user data, operating system files and temporary and erased files. For maximum data protection, multi-factor pre-boot authentication ensures user identity, while encryption prevents data loss from theft. Tips: This tool does not support GPT partition table. To keep MBR partition table,please must disable bios UEFI or disable Memory Fast Boot before install your Windows 8 system. Full Disk Encryption The advantage of FDE is that it requires no special attention on the part of the end user after he initially unlocks the computer. As data is written, it is automatically encrypted. When it is read, it is automatically decrypted. Automatically encrypts all information on the hard drive - including user data, the operating system, temporary files and erased files, for maximum data protection. Pre-Boot Authentication Ensures that only authorized users are allowed to access the endpoint. Pre-boot authentication prevents the common hacker trick of using a Linux boot disk or Win-PE CD to bypass the operating system authentication and enter the system without login credentials. Pre-boot authentication operates at a lower level than the operating system. Our USB/SD encryption features simple user functionality and protection that is much more cost effective than hardware-based encrypted USB drives. Superior Data Security There is no direct memory access and program memory is separate from data storage, minimizing the risk of any backdoor data breach. FDE comes complete with its own memory, a multitasking operating system and an abundance of storage space, all in the hard drives closed computing environment.
