Granit

Granit is a small software application whose purpose is to help you create automatic installations with custom icons of the script.

Clean layout

The tool makes use of a multi-tabbed environment for providing a coherent structure of the configuration settings and a wizard-like assistant. The latter approach comes in handy especially for less experienced users because they are offered guidance throughout the entire configuration process.

Create automatic installations using the wizard

Granit gives you the possibility to select the working folder that contains the executable file you want to run. In addition, you are allowed to specify the executable file to start the installation (the EXE file should be placed in the working folder).
The utility is able to automatically detect silent settings for an automated installation mode. In case it cannot detect the settings, you can manually tweak them.

Extra configuration settings

Granit helps you make use of the built-in Finder tool in order to detect the target window. You are allowed to drag and drop the Finder utility on any panel or control in order to capture it.
You can view information about the target window or control, namely title, class, position and size. The program lets you configure the installation steps in a preferred order by moving items up or down.
Several file management features let you define the preferred action, namely copy, download, delete or launch file, and apply it before, during or after installation.
What’s more, the application lets you set up the source and destination files, overwrite the files and folders already present, mount ISO images if you have DAEMON Tools Lite installed on your computer, and define the action played at the end of the installation, namely display a message or stop the installation when the executable file is closed.
Last but not least, you can enter the program’s name, add a script icon (ICO file format), replace the system path variable, and copy the source code to the clipboard.
