Graphics2PDF Description
The PDF file format is preferred for its security options, since it can’t be edited that easily through any means. What’s more, a PDF document can be made up of different types of content, and in case you want to create one from pictures, applications like Graphics2PDF come equipped with the right set of features.
Lightweight, and easy to use
You only need to wait a matter of seconds before the application is deployed on your computer, getting the chance to check out the set of features before you realize. Be sure to run the installer with administrator privileges though, because you might run into permission errors when trying to write specific files.
Overall, the application sports an intuitive design, with little functions to go through, minimum accommodation time, and fast processing of files you add. Files can only be added through drag and drop, which is a major advantage, and supported formats allow you to work with pictures like BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF.
Good, but far from being a pro
There’s not really a limit to the number of files you can add, and each one represents a different page in the resulting PDF document. There’s no possibility to create a new documents for each picture, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
All pictures are shown as thumbnails in the preview area, each with a set of controls, and remove button. You’re free to use the controls to configure page order, which can get a bit frustrating, especially because it’s not possible to simply drag them around.
When you’re happy with page arrangement, the only thing left to do is hit the trigger button. It takes little time to generate the new PDF file, but there aren’t any built-in editing options, or at least the possibility to add a password for extra security.
To end with
All things considered, we can state that Graphics2PDF is a straightforward application you can use to bundle picture of different formats into a single PDF document. Batch processing isn’t supported, but the most impact on practicality is delivered by the lack of edit options, at least to add captions.
