GrepTool is a grep like file search utility for Windows. GrepTool allows you to do full text searches, as well as search and replace operations. Windows can search in file contents - This works for some files, but for others it doesnt. GrepTool works with all file types.If youre not familiar with writing regular expressions, GrepTool includes the ability to create regular expressions using a user friendly GUI interface. This same interface can be used to visually create search and replace expressions that allow you to use patterns to change the format of text, such as manipulating dates. Unlike other grep utilities on the internet, GrepTool allows you to run multiple searches at once.
