GSA Clip Spider

GSA Clip Spider allows you to easily download all the videos from the specified webserver, by automatically detecting the media clips and parsing their addresses. This tool can quickly download all the videos, based on the configuration and filters that you set in advance.

Video crawler and grabber

GSA Clip Spider is a suitable tool for users who wish to download batches of videos from a certain webserver. The program is intuitive, all you need to do is enter the source URL, then set a number of preferences.
The program can parse all the pages it detects at the specified address, but you can limit this feature by setting it to only parse first level links. Alternatively, you can set it to parse a custom number of levels.
The results are displayed in the Found Items tab, along with an integrated media player and the options to save the list or download the selected videos.

Queued URLs and options

The other tabs in GSA Clip Spider’s interface allow you to view all the links the program identifies onto the source webserver, queued for parsing. You may also switch to the Options tab, where you can set additional filters: filesize limitations, maximum number of threads or delay interval after finishing a download.
The program supports Internet connection via proxy servers and allows you to select a custom destination folder. You can also create filters based on the clips’ extensions, URLs, domains or movie names. For instance, you can choose not to parse URLs with *.ace, *.class or *.css.

URLs with mandatory login

GSA Clip Spider can detect when a webserver requires authentication, based on the URL that you enter. Simply click the dedicated option, below the address fields and enter the login credentials, to gain access to the media content. The application is simple to use and allows you to preview, plus manually select the content you wish to download.
