GTG DPC

Making music on a computer is now an enjoyable activity, especially because of all the computer programs which can almost entirely replace actual instruments. To help out, GTG DPC comes as a lightweight VST plugin which provides drum support with options to load different tracks for each drum items.
Since it’s merely a VST plugin it doesn’t need to be installed, but just integrated into a suitable host application. An example here is VSTHost, with routing automatically done to input and output devices as soon as it’s opened here.
All controls are handled from the appropriate configuration window. A visual preview of a drum kit is provided, which can also be used to simulate sound based on specific components such as a pair of cymbals, three tom-toms, snare drum, hi-hat, as well as the bass drum. Interacting can either be done directly on the pad, or through a connected midi device by hitting the right notes.
Effects aren’t abundant, with a main one referring to reverberation. It’s value sets make it possible to configure size of sound, width, damp, and general mix. On the other hand, there are individual reverberation slides for each drum component, as well as sliders for volume, decay, fine-tuning, and pan.
