Have a nice day Description
Have a nice day is a simple widget clock that displays a smiley face on your desktop. This type of tool can come to aid if you feel that the sight of a smiley face can brighten up your day.
Thanks to the GADGET format, installing Have a nice day is not necessary. It means that you can store the tool on a removable device (like a USB flash drive) and directly run it on any computer that has the Yahoo! Widget Engine installed.
The dial of the analog clock is based on a standard yellow smiley face which shows the hours along with the hour and minute hands.
From the 'Preferences' section you can hide the current date and second hand, choose the chime (speak it, timer, beep it, simple wall clock) and set the chime interval (every hour, half an hour or fifteen minutes).
In addition, you can make Have a nice day stay on top or below all other windows, ignore mouse events and prevent dragging, as well as adjust the interface opacity level between 20% and 100%.
The lightweight application needs a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, in order to run properly. It is very responsive and did not cause the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up error during our tests. The bottom line is that if you are looking for a simple way to cheer up for the day, then make sure to check out Have a nice day. Unfortunately, the tool has not been updated for a long time.
