Hidden Files Toggle

Hidden Files Toggle is a user-friendly and intuitive piece of software created to integrate into your Windows shell menu and allow you to show hidden items from the current folder, requiring only a few clicks to do it.

Choose the integration type

During the installation process, you have the option to decide where to integrate the utility, with three choices available, namely: ‘Show Item(s) On The Normal Context Menu’, ‘Show Hidden Toggle On The Normal Context Menu And System Files Toggle On The Extended Context Menu’, or ‘Show Item(s) On The Extended Context Menu’, the second one being used by default.
If you wish to change the settings, you simply need to rely on the options provided within the main window of the app.

After integrating into your context menu, this simple tool enables you to ‘Show / Hide Hidden Files’ just by right-clicking in the targeted folder, then selecting the corresponding option.
If during installation you chose to display Hidden Files Toggle in the extended context menu as well (Shift + right-click), you will be able to ‘Show / Hide Hidden System Files’, without having to waste too much time trying the locate the Windows Explorer tab that allows you to do that.
The main purpose of this lightweight program is to significantly reduce the amount of time and effort you spend switching between view modes in the regular way, enabling you to perform this task when needed, with a couple of mouse movements, then get on with your work.
