The application can perform three types of captures: a certain area, the current window or the entire screen. The global hotkeys for these operations can be customized if the default ones aren’t to your liking.
When using the area capture mode, you can click the left mouse button to select an area, use right click to move this box and press the spacebar to toggle the magnifier.

Edit your screenshots before saving or uploading them

HolzShots enables you to perform a number of editing operations. You can crop the image, fine-tune its brightness, blur certain areas and even extract colors.
Additionally, there are a couple of freehand drawing tools for you to work with, and you can insert text, shapes or arrows.  All these tools are very easy to use, and you can do quite a lot with them.

Upload screenshots or other images instantly

Once you are happy with your screenshot, you can upload it to DirectUpload.net and generate a direct link, HTML code or BBCode. Another image host is also available, but the application crashed when we tried to use it.
Of course, you can also any image stored on your PC. To do so, just right-click the application’s tray icon and point it to the file’s location.
