Hongsoft Free Video Converter

Hongsoft Free Video Converter is an application which allows you to encode video clips to multiple formats, including 3GP and MP4, supported by mobile phones. The tool can be easily handled by all user levels.
The interface of the software is plain and simple to work with. Video clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is permitted.
In the queue you can read the name, source path, format, duration and frame rate of each video. So, once you establish the destination directory and output profile, you can proceed with the encoding job.
Furthermore, you can customize audio and video preferences when it comes to the size, quality, codec, bit rate, frame rate, sample frequency rate, channel mode and others.
On top of that, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and trim them by marking the start and end time values, change the interface skin, set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, turn off computer), and more.
The video conversion software needs a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and keeps a good level regarding the image and sound quality. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. Unfortunately, there is no help file available and the interface is outdated. Otherwise, we strongly recommend Hongsoft Free Video Converter to all users.
