HP Drivers Update Utility Description
HP Drivers Update Utility is an application designed to help you detect outdated drivers on your HP computer and install the latest versions directly from the Hewlett-Packard website.
The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. HP Drivers Update Utility can check or drivers concerning the sound card, webcam, network adapter, USB, router, printer, chipset, monitor, video card, Bluetooh and motherboard, among others.
Once the scanning procedure is done, you can check out the name and latest version of each drive. Simply select which drivers you want to be up-to-date and let HP Drivers Update Utility take care of the rest.
Furthermore, you can backup and restore the drivers (in case the operating system starts experiencing errors after updates).
From the "Settings" area you can include hidden devices in the driver scan, as well as set the app to automatically download all new drivers after scanning, turn off the computer after all downloads are done and to automatically run at system startup. Options can be restored to default.
The tool runs on a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, in order to finish a scan job in reasonable time. No error dialogs have been displayed during our tests and HP Drivers Update Utility did not freeze or crash. There is no help file available.
