HuMo-gen

HuMo-gen is a free and open-source server-side genealogy program. It was created by Huub Mons from the Netherlands. HuMo-gen converts Gedcom files into PHP files and creates an instant, dynamic and searchable genealogy website. One can also built a family tree from a scratch with the advanced editor. The program can be easily installed by anyone with a domain and a webhost with PHP/MySQL support. No knowledge of either PHP or mySQL is required. HuMo-gen may be installed on a local PC for testing purposes with an Apache/MySQL simulator like XAMPP. Online manual is available on the website. It features 16 end-user interface and admin languages (English (UK, USA and CA), German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Hungarian, Danish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Hebrew and Persian). HuMo-gen features a wide range of genealogical reports and charts as well as convenient tools such as a relationship calculator and Google map integration. Since version 4.8.3 HuMo-gen has a built-in CMS system that allows the admin to create his own rich html webpages (Such as a custom made home page, information and research pages.
