IFOUpdate

IFOUpdate is a lightweight and portable application that enables users to back up their DVD movies by updating IFO information. It includes a few options that can configured by experienced users.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the executable file somewhere on the hard disk and click it to run.
It is also possible to save IFOUpdate to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine with minimum effort.
What's more, the Windows Registry does not get updated with new entries, and files are not kept on the HDD after removing IFOUpdate.
The interface is represented by a regular window with a plain and simple layout, where you can point out the original, authored and backup IFO paths, view IFO characteristics (e.g. audio and video attributes), set regions free, as well as correct VTS sectors, aside from updating IFO details.
It is possible to restore the IFO backup, save chapter files and graphically display the IFO layout, as well as ask IFOUpdate to transfer VTS_C_ADT table, copy the color table in each PGC, and copy audio and subpicture tables. These are just some of the options supplied by the utility.
It carries out a task rapidly and without showing error messages. The program has a good reaction speed and runs on a low quantity of CPU and RAM. We haven't come across any problems in our tests, since IFOUpdate did not hang or crash.
