ImageIngester Description

ImageIngester ingests images, transfers them from your camera or card to your computer the right way: Two copies are made, typically to different drives; Adobe DNG Converter is optionally run on raw files so the primary copy is a DNG; files are given unique names; modification dates (even for DNGs) are reset to the date on the card; JPEGs are verified by reading and decompressing them; and the primary images are kept in a tree organized by date, year/date, or year/month/date (your choice). Version 1.6.7 may include numerous new features, and is 33% faster, too. See Web site for details.
