Impression Designer allows you to create Flash-based presentations regardless of your Flash experience and create the Flash-based themes used in Studio using this neat application.

Create theme-based presentations

Impression Designer consists of two products in one. Impression Studio, which gives anyone the power to create Flash-based presentations regardless of their Flash experience, and Impression Designer, which enables Flash developers to create the Flash-based themes used in Studio.
Impression Studio users employ Actors to deliver their content. You, as a Flash developer, will create those Actors in Adobe Flash using the Impression Designer Flash plug-in and the standalone Impression Designer program to organize and deploy your Impression Themes.
Building your theme actually begins in Adobe Flash where you first create an .swf file containing the Actors you wish to build into your theme. Once you've created the .swf file with the Actors and assets you wish to build into your theme, open Impression Designer and select "New Impression Theme".

More features and tools

The Theme Assets section is where you'll be managing the assets (Actors and other media) of your theme. You'll need to import your assets, organize them into categories for ease of use, provide them with user-friendly names, and decide which media you want displayed to Studio users.
