InstallAnywhere 8 allows you to automatically generate response files used during silent installations. By default, these response files are recorded.
Improved Accessibility:
InstallAnywhere 8 allows you to create Section 508 compliant installers with new accessibility improvements, including support for screen readers, high-contrast, and mnemonics.
Enhanced Windows 64-bit Support:
InstallAnywhere 8 supports Windows 64-bit systems at runtime and allows you to target both the 64-bit and 32-bit portions of the operating system with a single installer build.
Support for Collaboration:
InstallAnywhere 8 allows you to automate the capture and communication of installation requirements between application and installation developers with support for InstallAnywhere Collaboration.
Ability to Customize Panel Size:
InstallAnywhere 8 includes new Installer Frame UI settings, which allow you to easily customize the size of your installer panels.
FLEXnet Connect Integration:
InstallAnywhere 8 integrates with the FLEXnet Connect application (formerly "Update Service"), allowing you to initiate communication and notifications to your customers.
