InstantCrypt Description
Data security is quite an important aspect of modern lives, especially since people like to keep private messages safe from prying eyes.
One application that could help you with just that is InstantCrypt. It's a neat software solution that allows you to create e-mails and encrypt them, before you send them to receivers.
Simple and easy-to-use graphical interface
The application installs quickly and the graphical interface shouldn't pose any trouble, especially since the layout is quite intuitive with plenty of tools at hand.
It doesn't come with any customization options, although it would have been nice if it had some additional themes that you could apply. Still, if you're having trouble configuring your e-mail account, you can check out the help menu which is filled with tips and instructions.
Encrypt your e-mails easily
The program uses PGP encryption which is considered to be secure. The first step that you need to do after launching the application is to create your own encryption key. The next step is to send your key to others, so that they can send you encrypted email.
You can also import others' encryption key and read emails. It comes with lots of tools for configuring your email, you will need to choose between two types of email that you would like to use. It lets you pick from the default email client or web email, as well as many options.
Some more tools and features
You can test your email configuration to see if it works before you start sending emails. By default, the application sends the encrypted text as an attachment file and not in the email body.
The application also allows you to encrypt and decrypt text in an efficient way. You can also back up your key ring, that means your own key and all received keys of others, to a location of your choice.
All in all, InstantCrypt is a very useful application for sending encrypted emails and making sure that only the receiver can read them.
