InterBase Data Access Components Description
InterBase Data Access Components is a high-performance library that allows programmers to design more streamlined database applications.
In just a few words, this library bundles a set of useful components that provide smooth connectivity to the latest versions InterBase, Firebird, and Yaffil database servers and can be deployed on the most popular desktop OSes like Windows, macOS and Linux, as well as on mobile-based ones like iOS and Android.
The first thing you should know about this collection of components is the fact that it is fully compatible with IDEs like Delphi, Lazarus and C++ Builder, with very few exceptions such as Delphi 8 and Free Pascal. It is also compatible with reporting components like InfoPower, ReportBuilder and FastReport.
Speaking of InterBase-compatibility, you should know that the library comes with support for fast record insertion (thanks to TIBCLoader), advanced streaming for BLOB, advanced generator, locking for Firebird 2 and value for stored procedures.
InterBase Data Access Components packs a set of streamlined GUI tools, designed to improve your overall productivity. You can thoroughly monitor the activity of your database applications with the help of the appropriately-named dbMonitor that is also capable of tracing SQL statemets, commits and rollbacks, as well as tweak DataSet and general database controls with the help of the Dataset Manager.
Database-independent data storage is made possible by TVirtualTable component, automatic data updates are granted thanks to TIBCQuery and TIBCTable, while the ability to retrieve metadata information comes courtesy of TIBCMetaData.System requirementsBorland Developer Studio 2006 IDE
