The upside of portable apps
This program is portable and therefore, the installation process becomes obsolete. In addition to that, unlike installers, it is not going to add new items to the hard drive or Windows registry without your approval, and it is not going to leave any kind of traces behind.
Another important aspect is that by moving the program files to a USB flash drive, you unlock the possibility of running Internet Down/Up Meter on any computer you can connect to, by simply clicking the EXE.
Clean UI
The interface is very simple, as it is comprised of a graphical representation of the download and upload speed, as well as a legend which explains the color-coding system. It becomes quite clear that all types of users can find their way around it, including those with little or no previous experience. Moreover, it can be rendered non-obtrusive at any point, by simply sending it to the system tray.
