IP Finder

IP Finder is a lightweight and portable software application whose only goal is to reveal your computer's local and external IP address.
It does not comprise additional options or configuration parameters, so it can be handled by all user levels, even the ones with limited or no previous experience in network utilities.
Since installation is not a requirement, you can simply put the executable file in a custom directory on the hard disk and click it to run.
There is also the option of saving IP Finder to a USB flash disk or similar storage mass storage device, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.
The interface is represented by a small window with a plain appearance, where the "what you see is what you get" concept applies, since there are no other options aside from the ones visible here.
Clicking a button immediately reveals the computer's local and external IP address. These can be copied to the Clipboard by making a selection and using the global hotkey, in order to paste them in a document for safekeeping. There are no other options available.
IP Finder quickly retrieves the local and external IP addresses while using low CPU and RAM, so its impact on computer performance is barely noticeable.
During our evaluation, the tool failed in its attempt to fetch the IP addresses when the PC was connected to the Internet via Wifi. Thanks to its overall simplicity, IP Finder can be used by anyone.
