It can stream media files in massive formats over IP network through RTP (IETF standards RFC 2190, RFC 2429, RFC 3984, etc), MPEG-2 ps (program stream) or ts (transport stream) formats.
Unlike common media streaming tools, IP Video Broadcasting Live! is an on-demand streaming server. Not only will it stream media, but it will also convert it into any formats you require before streaming.
A number of common audio and video codecs are supported, such as AC3, MP3, AAC, MPEG-1/2/4, H.263, H.264, etc. Besides audio and video files, IP Video Broadcasting Live! can broadcast media from other media streaming servers in RTSP or RTMP protocols, such as Real Helix Server and Adobe Flash Media Server.
