IP Viewer is a simple-to-use networking utility that obtains relevant information about your WAN and LAN, displaying it in a basic window that can be analyzed by all types of users, even rookies.
Before proceeding any further, you should know that it hasn't received updates for a long time and doesn't work properly on newer Windows versions. However, you can still use it on an older hardware configuration running an older OS edition, such as Windows XP.

Any of these fields can be copied to the Clipboard with the click of a button (next to each field). Moreover, data can be refreshed if any modifications were made in the meantime.

Evaluation and conclusion

We haven't experienced any kind of compatibility issues on Windows XP in our tests, thanks to the fact that the software utility didn't hang, crash or indicate errors. CPU and RAM usage was minimal, so it didn't hamper the overall performance of the computer.
Too bad that IP Viewer hasn't received updates for such as long time that it doesn't work on newer Windows versions anymore. Other than that, it delivers a quick and easy method for gaining important details about your WAN and LAN. It's geared toward all types of users, even the ones less experienced with networking utilities.
