IPfinder Description
IPfinder is an undemanding piece of software whose purpose is to locate the IP address of a workstation, based on its URL, along with its host address, based on its IP address. It is very simple to work with.
The setup operation is fast and uneventful, without demanding any special attention from the user. The app's interface is represented by a single window with dual tabs, where the layout is neatly organized.
Visual appeal is not one of the tool's strongest points, but this is not even a prerequisite, considering the simplicity of its nature.
You can write a website URL and make IPfinder display its IP address with the simple click of a button. In the same manner, you can write an IP address to find out the host address.
The secondary tab of IPfinder quickens the user's activity when dealing with multiple website URLs whose IP addresses you need to find out. The program allows you to write a list of web links, open a files with hosts (as long as it has the TXT format), as well as save the results list to a plain text document for printing and further evaluation. This is the limit of IPfinder's functionality; there are no other options available.
We have noticed a minimal consumption concerning CPU and system memory during IPfinder's runtime, thus it is not a concern to the computer's performance. It carries out the simple tasks rapidly and without errors.
While taking into account that updates haven't been made for a pretty long time, IPfinder is still a pretty handy application for detecting IP and host addresses, that can be used even by people with limited experience in such apps.
