JobServer Professional is an application that was developed as an assisting tool for those who need to organize their tasks, jobs and processes in a highly scalable environment. By using its features, people will be able to attain the required internal / external job processing.
Having as its main prerequisites the Java platform and a relational database such as MySQL or Oracle, the application will allow users to run various processes on a scheduled basis. Ranging from complex tasks such as ETL processing up to critical business number crunching and web services integration, JobServer Professional will be able to handle them all.
Since any given job from a business can comprise of a single event, such as notifications on a recurring basis or of multiple steps that form a complex workflow, the ability to schedule their occurrence has many advantages.
The application will allow one to consolidate cron jobs and batch programs into a single instance, create new types of jobs using the SOAFaces API or build new software components that can be managed from within its environment.
People will be able to manage thousands of jobs with increased peak loads, create complex scheduling rules, allow multiple users to edit, create, track and administer jobs with sensitive privilege statuses.System requirementsJava
