JTime Manager Description
Time management is one of the most important activities for both personal, and business related activities. Moreover, this task becomes a walk in the park if performed with the right set of tools. Computer applications like JTime Manager comes with a flexible environment, export options, and different customization options.
Can be used on the go
In order to function, you need to make sure that Java Runtime Environment is installed on your PC. On the other hand, the application itself requires no installation, making it possible to carry it around on a thumb drive. This way registry entries are kept intact as well.
The interface is pretty compact, but it’s well-organized managing to neatly sort and display the variety of features. Once started, it you can switch to a mini mode, only showing a counter. For more flexibility, the application allows you to create a custom number of tabs, each with its own counter, but this needs to be enabled from the options menu first.
Rich set of configurations
With a built-in browser, switching between tabs when too many are open, becomes incredibly easy. Two hour display modes are available, while provided information shows used, dead, and total time of activity. This information generates when a timer is stopped. In this state it’s also a good idea to save to file, with support for the CSV format.
Accessing the settings manager unveils a rich set of configuration options related to the interface, timer, and data. The set of GUI options comes with clever security options to prompt for save for operations like timer stop, exit, clear time, and closing tab. Additionally, tab position can be specified.
Data options provide the means to create multiple users, and assign default file path for the export option. As far as Timer options are concerned, it’s the place where you allow simultaneous running of timers, automatic save, maximum timers, decimal digits, and several more.
A few last words
To sum it up, JTime Manager is a trustworthy office companion which is sure to help track time of activities for efficient management. It also suits on the home computer, providing enough flexibility to be used with multiple profiles, and carried around on a thumb drive, with the automatic save function backing up data.
