Kaku Description
Listening to music is one of the pastimes that many people turn to when they want to unwind after a hard day. Kaku is one of the apps you can rely on when the songs you are interested in are stored online, on several platforms.
Intuitive graphic user interface
The application comes with a straightforward GUI so that you can benefit from its functions even if you are not a PC expert.
By default, the main window displays the current music rankings for a certain country, and you can change the location by accessing the Settings section. You can either listen to one of these tracks or manually search for a different one.
Find your favorites tracks and save them to playlists
You can initiate a new search by entering the name of an artist, a band or a title, and Kaku immediately displays all matching songs from YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud. It is up to you to choose the one you like best and listen to it while also watching its video, if available.
When it comes to these videos, Kaku offers you two options: you can play them in a preview window, or you can enter full-screen mode.
As soon as you come across a track that you enjoy, you can save it to a previously created playlist to keep it within reach. This way, you can listen to all songs regardless of their online source. YouTube playlists can also be imported, by simply pasting links.
Backup or sync data to Dropbox
After you have created playlists or configured the application to your liking, you can backup the settings to a local folder or your Dropbox account. Understandably, you can later sync data stored locally or on your Dropbox.
All in all, Kaku is a handy app for enjoying music from multiple online sources, while offering support for videos as well.
