Karen's Time Cop Description
Time is one of the most important resources available to everyone, even though only an imaginary concept. A proper management of this resource is sure to boost your chances of success in any domain of activity. Just to help remind you of specific events, Karen's Time Cop help configure a timer, and display a message when done.
Lightweight and easy to use
The application comes in a lightweight package, and only keeps you busy for a little while during the setup process. Once done, you can launch it to start setting up countdown timers for any activity which needs to be performed in the near future.
All it has to offer is found in a pretty compact main window. Accommodation is the least of your concerns, with all fields speaking for themselves, and starting at the press of a button. There are multiple trigger options except for a message, with the possibility to load files of nearly all types to be launched as soon as the counter reaches zero.
Timer shown in fullscreen
The timer is configured by choosing values from different drop-down menus which stand for days, hours, minutes, and seconds. A dedicated field is there so you can add a custom message. Additionally, the counter can be shown going up or down. Note that the file is not a mandatory requirement, nor is the message to display.
An extra option can be used to make the counter show up in a fullscreen window, which means the application mostly comes in handy when used on terminals or kiosks. Sadly, the display space is plain, with no possibility to choose any colors for the background, or text.
To end with
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Karen's Time Cop is mostly intended to serve on kiosks, and terminal computers to show a countdown timer in fullscreen. However, with little customization options, the file to play needs to attract most of the attention of the public.
