When it comes to the interface, Karen's Window Watcher has a simple window with a neatly structured layout, where all hidden programs are automatically detected and listed at startup.

View hidden programs and examine info

You can scroll the list and select an entry to find out the window handle and title, module file name, process priority, total read and write operations, amount of read and write bytes, window location and size, whether or not it's hidden, enabled or a menu, along with state and class name. The total found and displays top-level and child windows are shown too.
It's possible to resort to a basic search function to track down a particular program if you have numerous ones running, set the frequency for automatically updating information, and click a button to find a window's location on the screen. There are no other notable options.

Evaluation and conclusion

There were no unpleasant surprises in our tests as far as stability goes, thanks to the fact that the app didn't hang, crash or display error dialogs. CPU and RAM usage was minimal, so it slow down the computer's performance.
On the other hand, Karen's Window Watcher hasn't received updates for a long time and its interface needs some work in the graphical department. Otherwise, it provides you with useful information about hidden running applications and can be used by anyone with ease.
