KDE Skin Pack

KDE Skin Pack is a versatile application intended to change the appearance of your computer to resemble the KDE environment. In other words, the appearance of your OS will be partly altered so as to contain elements characteristic to KDE.

How it works

KDE Skin Pack provides a set of out-of-the-box enhancements that are made possible through the program’s inner engine, as well as via many third-party applications which are embedded in the program’s setup (such as RocketDock, SmartFlip, UberIcon and Y'z Shadow to name a few).
These are responsible for many of the program’s features, but are not interdependent, therefore you may unselect any of them during the installation process. One of the essential components of the package is UXTheme Patch, which is especially crafted to unlock the visual styles that are typically turned off on Windows 7 computers.

Through the participation of the components mentioned above, you OS will have a completely different appearance than the one you’re used to. Starting with the boot screen and ending with the looks of your desktop, you will spot a novelty everywhere you look.
Also, a quick toolbar will be implemented at the top of the desktop screen, providing access to the most common areas of the computer such as the Control Panel, Notepad, Calculator, Windows Media Player and so on.
Open windows are much more interactive and enhanced through a bouncy effect, while all of the icons will bear a more elegant appearance. You will also be able to select from a variety of visual styles, themes and mouse cursors that are specific to KDE’s look.
