KeepNetworkAlive Description

KeepNetworkAlive is a straightforward piece of software that enables users to maintain their Internet connection active by sending the Ping command to a selected IP address at a regular time interval.
Setting up the program takes little time and does not need special attention. Once it is done, you can run it to view a standard window with a well-organized structure, representing KeepNetworkAlive's interface.
So, you can write an IP address and specify the Ping buffer (in bytes), along with the timing and timeout. It is possible to use proxies, enable activity logging, as well as ask the application to automatically run at system startup.
In a separate tab you can view the logging details, and they include the ID, date, response, time and status of each command. All or just selected rows can be copied to the Clipboard via the right-click menu. There are no other notable options provided by Keep Network Alive.
The program barely uses CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. It has a good response time and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We haven't come across any issues in our tests. Unfortunately, the tool cannot be minimized to the system tray area while running.
To sum it up, KeepNetworkAlive provides users with a simple means of keeping their Internet connection alive, and it comes packed with standard options which make it accessible to all users, regardless of their experience level.
