Kelvin Weather Description
Kelvin Weather is a simple gadget for your desktop whose purpose is to reveal the current temperature for a selected location. It is very easy to install and configure, as it packs limited options.
The interface is based on a very small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.
Kelvin Weather displays the current temperature, city and country name, along with a background image representing the weather status.
By opening the Options panel through the right-click menu, you can search for any location in the world, as well as choose the temperature measuring unit between Fahrenheit, Celsius and Kelvin. Furthermore, you can increase the frame size to get a weather forecast on the next three days, including night-time temperature.
Kelvin Weather does not comprise additional options of its own. However, thanks to the default settings provided by the operating system, you can make the frame stay on top of other windows, as well as adjust its opacity.
The gadget is very light on the system resources, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM, so it doesn't interrupt user activity. It has a good response time and displays weather information accurately. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests, and the tool did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, first-time users can easily figure out how to work with Kelvin Weather.
