The setup operation is standard and fast, so no special attention is required. As for the interface, Key generator implements a small window that shows all main options.

Specify password rules

So, you can specify the number of characters to fill in the password, as well as to allow uppercase, lowercase and special characters (e.g. symbols), along with numbers.

Copy the generated key

The key is instantly generated with the click of a button, and you can copy it to the Clipboard to paste in a document for safekeeping and further use. There are no other notable options available through this software utility.

Performance and conclusion

The app is fast and efficient, delivering good results. It runs on a low amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the machine. We have not come across any kind of issues throughout our evaluation, since Key generator did not hang, crash or display error messages.
Although it does not include substantial features, Key generator offers a simple method to create secure, multipurpose keys, and it can be handled by all user categories.
