kSign Description

kSign is a tool designed for applying digital signatures to applications using genuine Comodo certificates, in order to get rid of the "Unknown Publisher" message that appears when attempting to install or run them. This way, users who typically have doubts about products with this label attached can trust the verified publisher.
It supports a wide range of platforms, enabling you to sign Java applets, Mozilla object files, Windows drivers, Adobe Air tools, Microsoft Office Macro or VBA files, Silverlight applications or XAF files, as well as various Microsoft items, like 32-bit and 64-bit EXE, DLL, OCX, MSI and CAB files.
The program is wrapped in a simple interface, where you can create a list with multiple files to sign all of them at the same time. Folders containing multiple files can be added too.
After purchasing or renewing the Comodo certificates (PFX file type), you can open the file with the valid digital signature, enter its password (wherever this is applicable), as well as specify the description and URL to be displayed in the "Open File - Security Warning" dialog when trying to install or launch a program.
Although kSign is free to use, the certificates can be separately downloaded and purchased. All signatures are timestamped by Comodos timestamp server. It doesnt require any library from Microsoft, signcode.exe, or signtool.exe.
