ListSorter

Working on a computer doesn’t necessarily have to involve complex tasks, or playing video games. A computer fitted with the right set of applications can come in handy in nearly any domains of activity. As such, ListSorter comes as a tool with which to alphabetically sort out items inside a text document.

On the bright side of things, the application doesn’t require installation to function, so you can benefit from all it has to offer from the moment download is done. This also means it can be used on other computers besides your own, directly from a thumb drive. Just make sure that Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime is installed on your computer.
The interface is a straightforward window, but this simplicity makes it easy for both beginners and experienced individuals to get the hang of things. A couple of editable panes are there and serve as input and output lists. A set of options slides down at the press of a button, revealing a few input and output options.

Items need to be pasted from clipboard

Unfortunately, the application can’t directly read the content of a file, not even if it’s under the TXT format. This means that input needs to be pasted from the clipboard, or written down on the spot inside the input list pane.
It’s recommended to review the list before sorting it, because it’s not processed unless items are separated by a particular character. You can view and edit it inside the options panel, and there’s also the possibility to set a separator for the output list. Items are always sorted alphabetically, with no options to change this.

All in all, ListSorter is a straightforward application with the help of which to arrange items inside documents alphabetically. Sadly, it can’t load files of any kind, and there are no options to choose a different sorting method other than alphabetically.
