LiteWeight Catalog Creator

The table performs three groups of actions: 1) Get data - the table gets data from the windows folders (Figure1) to Excel sheet and organize the data in the rows and columns. If there is a pictures in the folders, they present as well. 2) Add and edit data - by typing a new name in columns "A" empty cell, you creating a new item folder with subfolders named in the cells "C1:G1". Changing stock level in column "H" adds the new record to the stock level file (new q-ty and date). 3) Presents folders and files content - double click on "A" to "G" columns cells opens the appropriate folder, double click on stock level in column "H" presents the graph of stock level (Figure2) with), click on picture resize it to larger/smaller size. Double click on column headers sorts the worksheet.

How LiteWeight catalog creator works. a) Place "LiteWeight catalog creator.xlsm" file in the main catalog folder. Assure macro allowed (see FAQ for the details). b) After the opening, the system jump to each folder, subfolders and service files, finds pictures and presents the info in the table. c) Picture selection: if there is a picture with the name similar to the item name (Computer.jpg in Computer folder for example), the table will present it regardless on the other picture files. If picture with the folder name not exists, the table will present most recent picture. Files extensions for pictures are ".jpg", ".gif", ".bmp" and ".png".
