LiveContactsView

LiveContactsView is a lightweight and portable piece of software that you can use to view the details of all contacts in Windows Live Messenger.
It does not contain complicated options or configuration settings, so it can be handled by all types of users.

Portability advantages

Since there is no installation involved, you can drop the program files in any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to run.
There is also the possibility to save LiveContactsView to a USB flash disk or other mass storage device, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.
What's more, the tool does not add new entries to the Windows registry or Start menu, leaving the disk clean after removal.

Clean and intuitive interface

The UI is user-friendly, consisting of a single frame with an organized structure, where the list of contacts is immediately populated at startup.
Details include the messenger address, home email, nick name, and so on. You can save selected entries or all information to an HTML, XML, CSV or TXT file, use a search function when dealing with large amounts of data, as well as point out a contacts file if Windows Live Messenger is no longer installed on your system.

Performance and conclusion

The tool is very low-demanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it shouldn't affect overall performance. It includes help documentation.
