Lossless Audio Converter is a simple-to-use Windows application that facilitates file conversion between audio tracks with the FLAC, WAV, WMA, WV, APE and M4A APE formats.
It comes packed with an intuitive set of options that can be figured out by all types of users, even those with no experience in audio conversion software.

Fast install and clean UI

The setup procedure is fast and uneventful. As far as the interface goes, the main app window has an organized structure and lets users add audio tracks for processing via the file browser, folder view or drag-and-drop method.

Convert in single or batch mode

As you suspect, batch processing is supported, which means that you can work with multiple items at once to reduce overall task duration.
The file list shows the format, full path, size and progress for each item. So, all you have to do is select the output profile, destination (same as the source file or custom) and, optionally ask the tool to preserve the original folder.
The conversion procedure starts with the click of a button, and you can track the progress in the status bar. Apart from the fact that you can remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue, there are no other notable options available here.

Performance and conclusion

The app does not put a strain on computer performance, as it runs on low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any kind of issues throughout our evaluation, as Lossless Audio Converter did not hang, crash or pop up error messages.
Although it is not particularly resourceful, Lossless Audio Converter delivers quality audio and can be handled by all user groups. However, the short skill set does not justify its high pricing.
