M Internet Optimizer

M Internet Optimizer is a simple Windows tool designed to lend you a hand when trying to optimize the Internet connection, and thus get increased download and upload speed.
This isn't the first time we're seeing an app supposed to boost Internet speed, but M Internet Optimizer looks terrible and it provides just the basic utilities to serve its purpose.
In fact, we can't even find out the way it attempts to optimize the Internet connection, as the application not only that features a basic look, but it also has absolutely no help file to provide more information on the way it works.
The main window holds just two simple options, “Optimize” and “Restore”, each with a pretty self-explanatory name. There are three connection types supported, as it follows: dial-up connection, cable modem and ISDN. Just pick the one you use and hit OK, M Internet Optimizer should take care of the rest of the job.
There's an “Options” menu as well, if it can really be named so, which includes just a single setting, allowing you to load the application automatically at Windows boot.
M Internet Optimizer doesn't seem to have any effect on any Windows machine we've tried it on, although it runs okay on Windows XP and 7, without even asking for administrator privileges.
Overall, M Internet Optimizer is just a basic tool that lacks too many features to become a top product. Probably the best thing about it is the fact that it comes with a freeware license.
